Plot – The corpse of Harry Worp is found in a forest and its discovery disturbs many people as everyone believes to be responsible of his death. Old Captain Wiles believes he killed him with a shot, Miss Gravely soundly beat him because he bursted into her house, his former wife Ms. Jennifer hit him with a bottle and painter Sam Marlow, the current admirer of Ms. Jennifer, fears he can be accused of complicity in the alleged murder. These people exhume Harry's corpse separately to examine it, but the sheriff is looking for it too and he starts the investigations as he notices a vagabond with the dead man's shoes. Harry's corpse is then examined by a doctor who assures the death is due to a heart attack, so the alleged culprits can bury Worp's body again and let it to be discovered by Arnie, Ms. Jennifer's son.
