Plot – In 1963 'The Wanderers' - a gang led by Richie - is the absolute ruler of Fifty-second Street in North Bronx. One evening Joey, Richie's best friend, gets in a fight with 'The Baldies' and he would have had the worst of it if a stranger, Perry, had not taken his defence. Things are not better at school, where 'The Wanderers' clash with 'The Bombers' over a football game.
