Plot – Little Mary Bennington is 6 and has three single dads: Peter Mitchell, an architect, Michael Kellam, a designer and Jack Holden, an actor as her mother. They are always very busy cuddling Mary, who returns them an immense affection. Things get more difficult when Sylvia, who's offered a role in a Shakespearean comedy that will stage in London, not only announces that she will bring Mary with her to London, but that she will marry Edward the director too. The separation is harsh for the three friends and especially for Peter, who's secretly in love with Sylvia. He flies to London with Michael to attend the wedding set in Edward's wonderful villa: there he learns that the man has already arranged to close Mary in a college. Peter and Michael's reaction, joined in the meantime by Jack, is immediate: they do everything to prevent the marriage until after many accidents, Peter shows himself in the church and proposes to Sylvia.
