Plot – Donner is a professor at a small university. His wife has stolen his manuscript and published it as her own, becoming famous. Owen Lift is an auditor in Donner's courses and is obsessed by a domineering mother. Owen proposes to Donner to make an exchange: he will kill Donner's wife, while the professor will free him of his mother. It sounds easy, but wives and mothers are tough and have luck on their side. The two wanna-be murderers will find comfort in literature.
