Plot – In 1971 Vietnam war is ongoing and many young American guys keep on dying in the east territories while many others are arriving. In Fort Polk, a training camp in Louisiana, the A Company is about to finish the training. Jim is an aspiring writer and always takes notes at hand, Miter hopes to demonstrate he's a real man, Cantwell is resigned to his destiny, Wilson cannot wait to fight, Bozz would like to leave the army and organizes protests. When they are sent to Tigerland, a training area like the jungle, they simulate a real battle with the enemy and some of them use blanks, but others shoot with real bullets.
