“Titus” quotes
(1999)Plot – General Titus Andronicus wins against the Goths and, according to the customs of the late empire, he has to sacrifice the eldest son of the empress Tamora, a prisoner given to emperor Saturninus. As Saturninus is rejected by Lavinia, Titus' daughter, he marries Tamora, who thinks the marriage is her chance to take revenge. The other two sons of Tamora are ordered by evil Aaron to kill Saturninus's brother and to put the blame on Titus' sons, who are immediately beheaded. Tamora's sons then rape and mutilate Lavinia, so Titus gathers an army of Goths to eliminate Tamora's sons. He invites her to dinner and serves her sons' bodies, then he kills her. Saturninus eliminates Titus immediately after but he's killed in turn by Lucius, Titus's surviving son.
