(1980)Plot – In 1901 an association of Wyoming farmers hires a gunman to protect their cattle from the many thieves in the area. They turn to Tom Horn, efficient and relentless, who within two years gets rid of them all. He befriends the teacher Glendolene Kimmel, which gives US Marshal Joe Belle another excuse to dislike him. Although he manages to get rid of their problem, the farmers fire him and side against Tom after the murder of a pastor. Tired and disappointed, abandoned even by the teacher, Tom is sentenced to death in a show trial and then hanged.
