Plot – Transformers: Dark of the Moon is a 2011 American science fiction action film based on Hasbro's Transformers toy line. The film is the third installment in the Transformers film series and the sequel to Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009). Picking up two years after the Egypt incident, Autobots Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide, Mirage, Wheeljack and Sideswipe led by Optimus Prime, are back in action fighting the evil Decepticons in a dangerous space race between the United States and Russia to reach a hidden Cybertronian spacecraft on the moon and learn its secrets.
