Plot – The young aspiring musician Gabriel takes a course for composers on Broadway. He confides to his outgoing strong-willed friend Katherine of experiencing homosexual tendencies that are making him very uncertain and confused. Gabriel shares an apartment with Rich. One evening, at a small gay bar, he meets Mark, befriends him and invites him home. After a while Rich comes home with Judy. The two flatmates draw to see who gets to stay in the apartment and Gabriel looses. He and his date then leave; Gabriel thinks he has found another apartment but this occasion also goes up in smoke. The two then go to another bar. Here, in a moment when he is alone, Gabriel is approached by Coco who warns him about Mark's behavior. Gabriel escapes, Mark catches up to him and together they return home to look for Mark's keys. Judy fights with Rich and leaves, Mark finds his keys and leaves. Gabriel pursues him and they enter another bar where they meet Katherine and some friends. After an evening of chatter, the others go away. Gabriel and Mark are left alone. They leave the bar at dawn. They say goodbye and Mark, who lives with his mother, leaves Gabriel his phone number. A few moments later, Gabriel is already dialing his friend's number from a phone booth. He hears Mark's voice on the answering machine and hangs up happy.
