Plot – The Roman Empire has fallen to pieces and the British Peninsula is ruled by chaos. Angles, Saxons and Jutes occupy the east side, while the west side is dominated by Irish King Donnchadh. Tristan has grown up in England as an orphan and Marke, the Lord of the village, has protected him. During a battle, Tristan is injured and presumed dead. According to the Viking funeral ceremony, he’s put on a boat and pushed offshore, but Irish princess Isolde rescues him and the two fall in love and live happily together until Tristan is forced to return home. In the meantime, King Donnchadh announces a tournament and Isolde is the prize. Unable to fight, Lord Marke sends Tristan who wins the competition. For the future of England, Tristan and Isolde are forced to put aside their love, but their passion and feelings are too strong.
