Plot – On September 9 of 2004, CBS News producer Mary Mapes was proud of her report, but at the end of that day she herself, the CBS News and the famous '60 Minutes' conductor Dan Rather were put to the test. The night before, the CBS broadcast a serious investigative report regarding President George W. Bush. When he was a pilot of the National Guard, he had neglected his duty. A few days before the scandal, '60 Minutes', Mapes and Rather were the center of the interest instead. The movie is based on Mary Mapes' book, "Truth and Duty: The Press, the President, and the Privilege of Power", published in 2015.
