Plot – Claude Eastman is a famous conductor. He's no longer young and he's happily married to an actress, Daniela. When he leaves on tour, he tells his factotum to keep an eye on her younger wife. Because of a temporary job, Daniela has left the house to her friend Carla Robbins, the wife of Claude's administrator. In Eastman's house, the beautiful Carla meets Max Stein, a violinist who plays often with Claude. Eventually the conductor believes Max is his wife's lover. During a concert, he thinks how to punish her.
