Plot – Agent Sam Gerard and his unit are investigating a mysterious killer on the run. He is called Mark Roberts and claims to be innocent while he tries to find out who compromised him in two murders in New York. Unfortunately, Gerard has to work with another agent, John Royce, who he doesn’t know and despises. After a nonstop manhunt between Chicago and New York, Gerard finds out that Roberts is actually an agent called Sheridan, ex-Marine and ex-CIA agent, who recently became an independent killer. Sheridan is wanted for the killing of two member of the diplomatic secret service who were chasing a Chinese spy. Sheridan is combed by UN, the Chinese government and Gerard. Gerard’s suspicion about Royce interferes with the job: Royce turns out to be very familiar with governmental actions and when the chase reaches the end of the line, Gerard’s doubts reveal to be true.
