Plot – Police officer John Ferguson suffers from vertigo and this peculiarity causes an accident that results in the death of a colleague: Johnny resigns after this event. His friend Galvin Elster asks him to watch over his wife Madeleine, who has been behaving strangely for some time. Her behaviour seems to give credit to an incredible supposition: the spirit of her great-grandmother, who committed suicide in tragic circumstances, seems to be reliving in Madeleine. Johnny refuses to believe such nonsense, but cannot find a logical explanation of what he is able to ascertain.
