Plot – In Paris in 1934, poor artist Victoria meets Toddy, a stand-up comedian who has been fired because of a scuffle. Toddy and Victoria decide to create a popular character who is going to upset the nightclubs’ scene in Paris. That is how Victoria becomes Victor, an effeminate Polish noble who has dancing and singing skills. Among his fans, a businessman from Chicago, Kind Marchand, is suspicious and hires a private detective to discover if Victor is actually a man or a woman.
