Plot – Max Renn is the director of a private TV channel specialized in porn movies and he intercepts a strange tv program which shows any kind of torture and killing called 'Videodrome'. The show has been created by a technician of his staff and is hosted by a certain Brian, who actually is dead. The show is just a tape, but it pushes Max to live many hallucinations and commit some crimes. The real director of 'Videodrome' is Barry Convex, who wants to manipulate people's conscience through television. Max becomes his death mechanism as he goes around carrying a gun and uses it when he receives a signal from the show channel. After he kills his colleagues and Convex himself, Max commits suicide.
