Plot – Born on the stage, George Cohan spends his life performing in an acclaimed quartet with his parents and sister. When he moves to Broadway, he reaches an immense celebrity. In 1917 he composes "Over There", a song which becomes the troops' official anthem and makes George almost a national hero. During the demobilization, Cohan's success doesn't decrease and his shows are more and more rich and elegant.
