Plot – 'Stranger things' is set in 1983 in the small town of Hawkins, Indiana. After the mysterious and sudden vanishing of Will Byers near a top-secret government laboratory, the whole town turns upside down. His mother Joyce desperately tries to find him and starts an investigation with local authorities. Many other people are helping her, like the police chief Jim Hopper, Will's friends and his brother. As they search for answers they begin to uncover secrets of a government lab, portals to another world and dangerous monsters. They also meet a strange little young girl with telekinetic powers who is running away from "bad men" who are doing experiments and may have unlocked a gateway to another dimension.
