Plot – 2 Broke Girls is an American television sitcom set in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City. It follows the lives of friends Max Black and Caroline Channing, two young women waitressing at a greasy spoon diner in the hopes of launching a successful business. Caroline was raised as the daughter of a billionaire, Max grew up in poverty, resulting in differing perspectives on life. Max is surprised to find that Caroline has as much substance as she does style. When Caroline discovers Max's talent for baking amazing cupcakes, she sees a lucrative future for them, but they first need to raise the start-up money.
