Plot – The O.C. is an American teen drama television series where O.C. stands for Orange County, the location in Southern California in which the series is set. The series centers on Ryan Atwood, a troubled teenager who is kicked out and abandoned by his alchoholic and unstable mother and gets adopted by the wealthy and philanthropic Sandy and Kirsten Cohen. Now he and his socially awkward foster brother Seth have to deal with life as outsiders in the high-class, shallow and materialistic world of Newport Beach.
